Meghalaya Government today decided that the lockdown will continue in East Khasi Hills district till 5 AM of 17th May.CM Conrad Sangma informed it on Twitter.
Conrad Tweet, Govt. has decided to continue the #Lockdown in #EastKhasiHills district till 5 AM of 17th May 2021. However, few restrictions will be lifted during the period. Essential Commodities’ shops in localities regulated by the Dorbar Shnong will be open with strict adherence to SOPs.”
During this lockdown, some restrictions are lifted:
Class XII examinations will be further postponed. Education Department will issue the notification.
Banks and Post Offices will be allowed to function with limited employees.
Farming activities will be permitted throughout the State with strict adherence to protocols by the Health Department.
