Today Sikkim celebrates the 22nd State of the world’s largest Democracy

Northeastern States of India Sikkim celebrates 46th Statehood Day today.

Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) tweeted , ” I extend my heartiest greetings to the people of Sikkim on the occasion of 46th State Day. Sikkim has time and again contributed to the process of nation building and further strive to work towards the development and welfare of the state and the country. Jai Hind! Jai Sikkim! “

DoNER Minister Dr Jitendra Singh tweeted , ” Greetings to the people of #Sikkim on their Statehood Day. I wish the people of this beautiful State peace, prosperity, progress, and above all, victory over Covid.”

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, ” Greetings to our brothers and sisters of #Sikkim on the State’s foundation day. Adorned with snowy mountains & beautiful landscapes. Land of monasteries & sustainable practices, may blessings of prosperity & most importantly, good health be bestowed on its people.”

On 16th May 1975 Sikkim became the 22nd State of the world largest Democracy.
