Do you know 171 Journalists died in India because of the Covid-19 Virus?

In India, Media has been referred to as the fourth pillar of Democracy. Media character is an important role in constructing a “New India.”

While people are confined to their houses, many people operating they are reputable earn a living from home when newshounds have been selflessly reporting from floor zero and bringing you news and stories of wish amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

India lost many senior journalists because of Covid, Rohit Sardana, Shivcharan Kalita, Sunil Jain, Anjan Bandopadhyay, Aiyushman Dutta, Nilakshi Bhattacharyya, AR Wig, Golap Saikia, Vikas Sharma, Harish Choubey, and many others.

Many reporters have taken to social media to point out that there has been no priority given to reporters. In West Bengal, the Mamata Banerjee government declared media persons as covid warriors.

After West Bengal, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand also declared their journalists a covid warrior.

In Assam, journalists have declared as front-line warriors.
