Renowned academician of Barak Valley and former Principal of Gurucharan College, Silchar Partha Sarathi Chanda passes away on Wednesday.
As per report Chanda, died due to sudden cardiac arrest.
Forest minister of Assam Parimal Suklabaidya tweet,” It’s so so hard to believe that the person,whom I met & seeked blessings just the last Sunday,my teacher,a brilliant educationist & a guiding light of my life Shri Partha Chanda sir of GC College is no more. May his soul rest in peace. “
He was a English teacher at GC College and was very popular among his students .
