Congress MLA of Assam Rupjyoti Kurmi reportedly shot at Assam- Nagaland border by miscreants on Thursday.
Rupjyoti Kurmi was on his way to Disai Valley to address a land dispute issue with the people from Nagaland.
Meanwhile, a task force of Jorhat police is on its way for further investigation.
