Dharani Saikia of Nagaon Paper Mill employee died on Thursday.
He lost the battle at 57.
Death Toll raised to 88 includes 4 committed suicides in two HPC Paper Mills of Assam Panchgram and Jagiroad.
Already 85 workers died during the previous tenure of NDA government in Assam,” JACRU president Manabendra Chakraborty said.
The third employee died after the new government charge in Assam in May 2021.
The two paper mills of Assam Panchgram in Hailakandi district and Jagiroad paper mill in Nagaon district were closed in 2015 and 2017.
