In Tripura ruling party BJP ally IPFT MLA Brishaketu Deb Barma resigns from his party on Tuesday.
Deb Barma was elected from the Simna constituency.
In his resignation letter, Brishaketu Debbarma cited ‘personal reasons’ for his decision of stepping down as an MLA.
Brishaketu Debbarma tendered his resignation before the Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly Rebati Mohan Das and has confirmed he has received the letter.
Sources confirmed that the exit of the IPFT MLA was planned, and he would join the Tipraha indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) very shortly.If he joins in Tipraha indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) it’s a major set back Biplab Deb-led BJP government in Tripura.
