Heavy rains in Tripura 556 houses damaged and 2137 people homeless report from the State Emergency Operation Centre issued on Thursday.
556 families currently sheltered at 20 relief camps in Khowai and Sepahijala districts in the state.
The Southern districts of Tripura have received the highest rainfall, followed by West Tripura, Sepahijala, Dhalai, Gomati, North Tripura, Khowai, and Unakoti.
