Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta released a new SOP in Assam today.
As per the new SOP, Sivsagar and Dibrugarh are kept under close watch for one week.
A total of seven districts have been declared as full containment zones.
These districts will remain closed for seven days. Goalpara, Golaghat, Jorhat, Sonitpur, Biswanath, Morigaon, Lakhimpur.
Timing of lockdown of Kamrup( M), Dhubri, South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaideo and Hailakandi changed from 5 PM to 5 AM.
