Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari Inaugurated Makru bridge on Monday.
While delivering a speech to the inauguration of Makru Bridge which started construction in 2016 today said that it is up to the leadership that can make an excellent socio-economic transformation of a state or the country.
But the COVID-19 pandemic-induced lockdown delayed the work.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of State, DoNER, BL Verma and officials of the State Government and NHIDCL.
The bridge is located 189 km away from Imphal city and 31km from Jiribam.
