Aparajita Rai the first IPS officer from Sikkim has been nominated for West Bengal Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Commendable Service.
Aparajita is presently posted in Kolkata Police’s Special Task Force (STF) Deputy Commissioner of Police.
She is the first woman IPS officer from Sikkim. She had appeared for the UPSC Civil Services exam in 2010 and 2011.
