After Tripura now Assam is ready to open its higher education institutions from September.
Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu on Thursday said Assam will resume final year higher secondary, degree and post-graduation classes from the first week of September.
Students who have been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed to attend classes.
A fresh SOP will be issue to the Education Department on 31st August. The State Government today approved open students hostels in the state.
The education minister of Assam Dr. Ranoj Pegu also requested all teachers, workers and students above the age of 18 years to participate in the vaccination drive and get inoculated.
