In Tripura, Ruling BJP and Opposition CPM Clashed BJP workers attacked on fourth Piller of Democracy

Tripura witnessed unprecedented violence on Wednesday. Around 10 people were injured and eight CPIM offices were attacked in Tripura and many vehicles were brunt.

Also attacked the 4th Piller of Democracy in Agartala on Wednesday at 4.30 PM almost 200-300 BJP workers led by the party’s state leaders to stormed into the Newspaper office of ‘Pratibadi Kalam’ and vandalised.

The National Union of Journalists India (NUJ ) condemn it on Twitter.

They also destroyed equipment, documents, and set cars and bikes ablaze, according to a police case filed by Anal Roy Chowdhury, Editor and Publisher of Pratibadi Kalam. Mr Chowdhury later told the media that such a dangerous, violent attack on a media office had never happened in Tripura.

Opposition leader and former Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar the ruling party workers led by the BJP leaders were responsible for the attacks on the party offices in Tripura.

The BJP leaders, however, have denied the allegations of former Tripura CM Manik Sarkar.

TMC leader and former Silchar MP Sushmita Deb condemn the violence on media by BJP goons in Agartala. Deb also told Tripura needs peace and progress but the Left and BJP are on a path of destruction.
