Assam: Over 4 lakh Class-X students begin offline classes from today

Imagine having a laptop in front of you, the laptop is connected to the Internet, a link is received which directs us to virtual meet platforms, teaching-learning happens.

This has been the format of education over the last many months, since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

Now, students get back to their classrooms, teaching having their classes face-to-face; today onwards.

Over four lakh Class X students begin offline classes in Assam, following COVID-19 protocols and health guidelines. School authorities ensure strict advisory, thoroughly sanitised campus, socially-distanced seating arrangements, etc.

The Government of Assam continues to adopt social campaigns to ensure mass vaccination, and aware the public on the importance of following COVID protocols.

It may be mentioned that, On September 6, physical classes for class XII and degree final years in schools and colleges reopened after four months Assam. However, in Guwahati, less than 50% attendance was recorded in the schools on the first day.
