Son of Labour Officer Gyamar Nikum a 16-year boy from Arunachal Pradesh has been selected to play for Rajasthan United FC in the Hero I League 2021 qualifiers.
He was scouted by Rajasthan United FC which offered him a scholarship seat at its residential football school based in Bhilwara.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu tweet,” Gyamar Nikum is just 16 and has been selected to play for @RajasthanUnited in the @ILeagueOfficial qualifiers. A product of talent and hard-work. My hearty congratulations to our upcoming football talent from the land of rising sun.”
Nikum is one of the youngest players in the history of the Hero I-League qualifiers.
