National General Secretary of AITC, Abhishek Banerjee is to hold a major rally at Agartala today. This is after Tripura AITC alleged the ruling government of using machinery to stop the above-mentioned.

Even before our National General Secretary Shri Abhishek Banerjee could land in Tripura, COWARD Biplab Kumar Deb has started using state machinery to stop him from peacefully conducting outreach events. Democracy? Clearly not a word in BJP Tripura’s dictionary!”, reads a tweet by Tripura AITC yesterday evening.
“Biplab Kumar Deb is a COWARD and we cannot say this enough number of times! Time and again, he has blatantly misused state machinery to threaten us, attack us & silence us. It’s a shame that in a Democratic nation such acts go unnoticed. The silence of the Home Minister is DEAFENING.”, reads a follow-up tweet by All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) on Saturday evening.
