DC Keerthi Jalli orders for Section 144 in Cachar, Silchar
Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli has ordered the imposition of Section 144 in Cachar, Silchar today evening.
This is after the recent socio-political tension in the Barak Valley District.
Also, this is from the Office of District Magistrate, led-by Jalli.
Therefore, from now on, No person shall move in public places carrying arms, lathi, weapon, etc.
Moreover, No assembly of 5 more persons in public would be in force.
It may be mentioned that, No person is allowed to use fire-torches to for taking up marshal in the town.
