Indian cuisine is filled with different flavours from different parts of the country. Located near Ruby Hospital, Dastaan serves up food that takes you down the Grand Trunk Road, from Kolkata to Peshawar. On the menu, you would find interesting food choices, taking inspiration from the incredible history of the Grand Trunk Road and the way food ideas transferred from one part of the country to another. The menu on offer provides an insight into the thought process behind it – the inspiration from various parts of India, primarily, very intimately connected with the North – is quite clearly visible in the selection. The food includes delicious biryanis, kababs, curries and desserts – perfected over months of labour and curated after a great deal of contemplation.
