BORDER SECURITY FORCE ORGANIZES FREE MEDICAL CAMP UNDER CIVIC ACTION PROGRAMME

On 13th December, 2021, under South Bengal Frontier, troops of Border Out Post N C Pur, 84 Battalion organized a free medical camp for the needy people living near the border area of Sector Baharampur. This camp started from 0930 in the morning to 1430 in the afternoon. The camp was inaugurated by Tapas Kumar Shah (MLA), Tehata, Nadia.

During this program 205 villagers from N C Pur and nearby villages came to the camp for treatment. This included men and women as well as children. Free treatment and medicines were distributed to all. The headmen and members of the nearby villages were also present in this camp, who made people aware of the camp.

The people of the area highly appreciated the camp and urged to organize more and more such camps in future.

The Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier has expressed happiness over the troops of 84 Battalion on organizing the medical camp. He stated that such programmes create a good image of the force and inculcate a sense of security among the citizens. He also said that such programmes would be organized in the border villages in future also.
