The first incident took place on 20 December 2021 in the area Border Out Post Sagarpara, 141 Battalion, BSF. On the basis of specific information, the jawans increased the vigil in this area. At around 1210 in the afternoon, when the jawan on duty was doing the same as the farmers and searching them as usual, when a farmer started hesitant to conduct the search. When the suspicion increased, as soon as the deployed jawan tried to apprehended the farmer (smuggler in the disguise of a farmer), he fled from there. Immediately jawan informed this to the patrol party. Without delay, the jawans cordoned off the area and started a search operation. After a thorough search of the area, a spray machine was found in which 950 yaba tablets and 100 grams of narcotic substance were found. The estimated cost of seized Yaba tablets is Rs 4,75,000. Identification of smugglers who ran away with the help of villagers.

On the other hand, in the second incident, on the evening of December 20, around 1930, the jawans of the Border Out Post DMC, 35 Battalion shattered the smuggling attempt, 2.3 kg of narcotic substance was seized. However, seeing the jawans coming towards them, the smugglers fled away with the help of darkness and dense bushes.
The seized material has been handed over to the concerned Police Station for further legal action.
The Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier encouraging his jawans and stated that our jawans are committed to completely stop smuggling in the area. It has been possible to stop smuggling in the area only due to the vigilance and understanding of the jawans.
