The Election Commission of India declared dates for 60 seats of the Manipur assembly on Saturday. The poll body followed its 2017 move to hold the election in two phases. Looking at the COVID-19 threats, the number of voters ob per booth has been reduced and increased the polling time by one hour. The commission prompted all realities including political parties, campaigners, and pickers to follow covid guidelines. No rally is allowed till January 15. The commission will review the dynamic situation on January 15 and further order will be issued
