Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas is organising the North East Zonal Conference on PM Gati Shakti – National Master Plan for multi modal connectivity at Guwahati on 28.02.2022. The conference is being organised on the Action Plans and Projects of North East Zone involvingArunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim and West Bengal.
Primer Minister Narendra Modi will address the webinar. Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep S. Puri, Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, MOS (PNG & labour) Rameswar Teli, Ministers of the Participating states will address the conference.
The Conference will help various Ministries/Department of Government in understanding the technological solutions and spatial planning tools designed by BISAG-N for efficient implementation and timely clearances of the Projects. Optimal synchronization and planning of the projects will enable to complete the projects in time resulting in higher economic growth and Job creation. The digital initiative will play a big role in ensuring timely clearance, flagging potential issues as well as in project monitoring.
16 Central Infrastructure/ User Ministries, representatives from industry and infrastructure organizations are also participating in the Zonal conference and Workshop for showcasing their projects / action plans for the last mile connectivity.
