BSF PRESENTED EXAMPLE OF HUMANITY, EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE IN JUTE PILE

The incident took place on February 28, at 1945 in the area of ​​​​Border Out Post Char Meghna, which is in the border area of ​​the 141 Battalion of BSF. A sudden fire broke out in a jute pile in Charmeghna village. When the Company Commander of Border Out Post Charmeghna came to know about the fire spreading rapidly, he immediately reached the village of Charmeghna with his troops where the jute pile was on fire. The fire had assumed a formidable form but with the help of BSF troops the fire was brought under control within a short time.

Haroon and Ravi, to whom this jute pile belongs, both expressed their gratitude to the BSF. They said that if the BSF had not helped them in time, the fire could have spread to the nearby residential area and caused huge loss of life and property. There is no loss of life or property in the incident.

Public Relations Officer of South Bengal Frontier stated that our jawans take full care of the security of the International Border as well as the safety of the people. BSF troops stand any thick and thin situation with the people in case of any untoward incident.
