Showing the spirit of cooperation with security, BSF troops took a woman to the hospital in the bordering area of Nadia district witch was suffering from labour pain, where the woman gave birth to a baby.
On March 10, 2022, at around 0230 the Company Commander of the Border Out Post Mahakhola, 82 Battalion received information that Subhana Mulla W/o Raju Mulla was suffering from labour pain in village Hatkhola. The woman’s family members are not finding vehicle to take to the hospital. After which the Border Out Post in-charge without delay sent a BSF vehicle along with a nursing assistant and a female guard to Subhana’s house. From there, the pregnant woman was taken along with family members to the Community Health Center, Chapra. Where immediately the doctor admitted her after a preliminary examination. The woman gave birth to a baby.
The family members of the pregnant woman expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the cooperation of the Border Security Force and said that BSF always helps the needy people.
The Public Relations Officer of the South Bengal Frontier stated that the Border Security Force troops always do duty on the International Border, be it storm, day or night. Along with this, they are always ready to help the people living on the border. Due to which there is always a mutual relationship and cooperation between the Border Security Force and the border residents.
