Assam: HSLC-AHM exams begins today, for 4,31,132 students under SEBA

The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) is to conduct the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations, starting today. This would be for 4,31,132 students across the state.

The exams were not held last year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, the question papers of 2021 would be used for the exams now. The official notification was issued by the state board.

“As the SEBA did not conduct HSLC/AHM examinations in the year 2021 in the manner conducted during pre-COVID period, the question papers and answer booklets prepared in the year 2021 remained unutilised, and are being used for the year 2022, to avoid misuse of natural resources,” reads  the notification by SEBA, that was issued last week.

A total of 4,31,132 students are registered to sit for the examinations that start today, and would end in March 31. The practicals have already been completed.
