BSF got tough, sensation spread after getting drone on Indo-Bangladesh border

BSF is always on alert on the India-Bangladesh border. On March 19, 2022, at around 0600 hrs, a farmer named Pankaj Sarkar, who went to do farming in village Purbapara, Border Out Post Kalyani, 158 Battalion posted in the border area of North 24 Parganas, saw a broken drone lying in the field. This farmer’s field is in Indian territory 300 meters from the International Boundary.

The farmer picked up the drone and deposited it to the Police Station Petrapole.

Due to the matter being related to International Security, BSF troops also reached the spot, but could not gather any specific information. Sibsequently, a special team of BSF closely monitored the drone. Checked and stated that the drone is manufactured by PRC (People’s Republic of China) with model number S500. At present no one has come to claimed this drone.

No camera of any kind has been found in this drone. According to reliable sources of BSF, it has been learned that Vipul Bakshi, a resident of Kalyani village, and his son, probably around 10:00 o’clock in the night, saw some unknown object with twinkling light which came flying from the side of Bangaon and fell in the field.

In a statement issued by the BSF, it has been stated that the BSF is strict about security, officials stated that at present the investigation is going on whether the misuse of this drone is a conspiracy to break the security or for trans-border smuggling. At present, the BSF has contacted the Police Station Petrapole to get takeover this drone so that its forensic investigation can be got done.
