N. F. Railway to run Two pairs of Pilgrim Special Trains

The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to run two Pilgrim Special Trains to clear the extra rush of passengers willing to travel for pilgrimage. The Pilgrim Special trains will run between Alipurduar Jn. – Bangaon Jn. – Alipurduar Jn. & Lumding Jn. – Bangaon Jn. -Lumding Jn.

Pilgrim Special Train No. 05464 (Alipurduar Jn. – Bangaon Jn. Special), will depart on Monday, 28^th March 2022, at 09:00 hours from Alipurduar Jn. to reach Bangaon Jn. at 07:00 hours next day, i.e. 29^th March, 2022. In return direction, Train No. 05463 (Bangaon Jn.-Alipurduar Jn. Special), will start its journey on 29^th March, 2022 (Tuesday), from Bangaon Jn. station at 22:50 hours to reach its destination at Alipurduar Jn. at 20:40 hours next day, 30^th March, 2022. These trains will run via Malbazar, New Jalpaiguri Jn., Malda Town, Bolpur Shantiniketan, Barddhaman Jn. and Thakurnagar stations.

Pilgrim Special Train No. 05604 (Lumding Jn. -Bangaon Jn. Special), will depart from Lumding Jn. on 28^th of March, 2022 (Monday), at 07:00 hours to reach its destination Bangaon Jn. , at 12:40 hrs next day . During its return journey Train No. 05603 (Bangaon Jn.-Lumding Jn. Special), will depart from Bangaon Jn. at 00:30 hours on 30^th of March 2022 (Wednesday), to arrive at its destination Lumding Jn., at 04:15 hours next day. These trains will run via Hojai, Guwahati Jn., New Bongaigaon Jn., New Cooch Behar, New Jalpaiguri Jn., Malda Town, Rampurhat Jn., Bolpur Shantiniketan, Barddhaman Jn., and Thakurnagar stations.

The composition of Alipurduar Jn.-Bangaon Jn.-Alipurduar Jn. Pilgrim Special will consist of 13 Sleeper Class Coaches & 02 Guard Vans will sitting facility for physically challenged person. Whereas the composition of Lumding Jn. – Bangaon Jn. – Lumding Jn. Pilgrim Special will be of 07 Sleeper Class Coaches, 03 Chair Cars, 03 General Class Coaches & 02 Guard Vans with similar sitting facility for physically challenged person.
