ONE BANGLADESHI YOUTH APPREHENDED ON THE BORDER, HANDED OVER TO THE BORDER GUARD BANGLADESH DUE TO HUMANITY AND GOODWILL

On the night of 26th April, 2022, at 1:30 pm, alert troops of the border outpost of 68BN BSF, Ranghat, detained a youth while crossing illegally the International Border whose identity is Abdus Salam (41), District – Cumilla, Bangladesh.

During interrogation, Abdus Salam told that he came to India on February 11 under the pretext of getting a job in India through an agent. For which he also took 20000 Taka from the agent, stayed in New Town Kolkata for 14-15 days after coming to India, but when he did not get the job, he decided to go back after getting upset and was going back to Bangladesh today.

The apprehended youth was handed over to the Border Guard Bangladesh as a gesture of humanity and goodwill.

Yoginder Agrawal, Commanding Officer of 68BN BSF told that the Border Security Force is taking strict measures to prevent infiltration along the Indo-Bangladesh border, due to which some people are being apprehended. Considering the seriousness of the crime of the arrested people and due to the mutual cooperation and goodwill of the Border Guarding Forces of both the countries, some of them are being handed over to the Border Guard Bangladesh.
