The Border Security Force is always ready to help the border residents along the borders of the country, whether it is Corona period or normal situation. A similar example has been set by the troops of the 86th Battalion of the South Bengal Frontier, deployed on the Indo-Bangladesh border in Murshidabad district.
On May 01, 2022 at about 1230 pm, a girl Anita Mahto(Name Changed) (age 15 years) of Shikarpur village, had consumed poison due to family problems. To take her to the hospital, her relatives sought help from the Company Commander of Border Out Post Shikarpur. Company Commander sent his ambulance along with a nursing assistant to the house of Anita Mahato. After giving first aid, she was evacuated and admitted at Karimpur Hospital without any delay. The condition of the girl is stated to be fine.
The girl’s brother expressed his gratitude towards the BSF.
Anita Mahto’s brother thanked the Border Security Force and said that if the BSF had not helped at the right time, then there could have been a big accident and due to which she could have died.
Surendra Kumar, Commanding Officer, 86 Battalion expressed happiness over this commendable work of the jawans and stated that Border Security Force stand with the border people in every happiness and sorrow along with curbing the crimes on the border. Due to which a cordial relationship can be established between the Border Security Force and the border people.
