Five U19 women cricketers from Bengal have been selected for the Zonal Camp of NCA.
The month-long camp for the girls will commence on May 16, during which they will play at various venues.
Dristi Majhi (Batter), Titas Sadhu (Right-arm Medium Pacer), Bidisha Dey (Right Arm Medium Pacer), Hrishita Basu (Wicketkeeper batter) and Sasti Mandal (left-hand batter) have been selected for NCA Zonal Camp.
“We have given a lot of stress on women’s cricket. We are scouting talents from across the state and creating new tournaments for them. The selection of the five cricketers is proof that our efforts are paying off and we are in the right direction,” said CAB Jt Secretary Debabrata Das.
The players will leave for the camp on May 15.
