Under the aegis of West Bengal and Sikkim Directorate, 60 naval cadets comprising of 35 boy and 25 girl cadets of 1 & 2 Bengal Naval Units will be undertaking a Sailing Expedition on the Hooghly River from Farakka to Kolkata covering a distance of 410 km.
The curtain raiser of the event was conducted at NCC Club House, Maidan area, Kolkata on 18 May 2022 in which Maj Gen Uday Shankar Sengupta, ADG West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate interacted and motivated the cadets to undertake the event in the true spirit of adventure.

The event will be flagged off from NTPC Farakka on the morning of 22 May 2022 from NTPC Ghat, in presence of other local dignitaries. The Closing Ceremony on 09 Jun 22.
