Air Marshal DK Patnaik AVSM VM, Air Officer Commanding–In–Chief Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Station Laitkor Peak on an inspection visit. He was received by group captain Sandeep Singh VM, Station Commander.
The Air Marshal was given a brief presentation that focused on the operational potential and war fighting capacity of the station. He also inspected various sections of the station and took a census of ongoing work services. During the interaction with the Air Warriors, he emphasized on the need to be operationally focused and vigiliant. He also touched upon various initiatives being taken by the IAF in terms of Human Resource Management. He exhorted the Airwarriors of the station to remain operationally focused, physically fit and mentally agile and live up to the motto and highest traditions of the IAF.
