Nine candidates from Northeast who cleared UPSC 2021 examination

The Union Public Service Commission on Monday announced the results for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021. The Top Three Positions have been secured by girls Candidates this Year.

Shruti Sharma, an alumnus of St Stephens College and Jawaharlal Nehru University has secured the All India Rank 1 in the Exam.

The second Rank was Secured by Ankita Agarwal, and Gamini Singla Ranked Third.

Total 9 candidates cleared from Northeast who have cleared UPSC CSE 2021: Assam: 3 Arunachal Pradesh: 1 Nagaland: 2 Manipur: 2 Meghalaya: 1

Know the candidates who cleared prestigious examination from northeastern India :

Assam:

Three candidates of Assam Cleared is Shilpa Khanikar secured 506 All India Rank and Debjyoti Barman secured 639 All India Rank and Ayushi Kalwar cracked UPSC exam 2021 rank 618 in the UPSC CSE 2021.

Nagaland:

Two candidates from Nagaland have also cleared the examination. Viku L Achumi secured AIR-567 & Imsennaro Walling secured AIR-585 for cracking UPSC Civil Service Examination 2021.

Manipur:

Two candidates from Manipur have also cleared the examination. Wairokpam Punshiba Singh AIR 238, while Makakmayum Hosni Mubarak secured 575 rank.

Meghalaya:

Ankur Das of Shillong for securing rank 52 in the Civil Services Examination 2021. Ankur has done his schooling from St. Edmund’s School, Shillong and completed his 10+2 from Army Public School, Shillong.

Arunachal Pradesh :

Tenzin Chonzom from Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh has cleared Civil Services Examinations 2021. She came in 584th rank out of 685 total candidates. She is the daughter of Sang Phuntsok, Secretary, Hydropower, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh.

A total of 685 candidates have been selected for appointment to the IFS, IAS, IPS and allied services. The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in all the three rounds that includes preliminary examination, main examination and personal interview.
