BSF apprehended a Bangladeshi woman crossing International Boundary, handed over to BGB as a gesture of humanity and goodwill

On June 16, 2022, at around 0940 hrs, a Bangladeshi woman who had entered the Indian territory was apprehended by the vigilant troops of Border Out Post Lavangola, 35 Battalion. The apprehended Bangladeshi woman identified herself as Jannatu Nayan (35 years) Father- Lal Mohammad, Village-12 Mile Post Godagri, District- Rajshahi (Bangladesh).

After thoroughly investigating the Bangladeshi woman, handed over to the Border Guard Bangladesh on humanitarian and goodwill.

S K Dogra, Commanding Officer, 35 Battalion informed that the Border Security Force is taking strict steps to prevent infiltration along the Indo-Bangladesh border. In view of the seriousness of the crime of the apprehended people and to maintain mutual cooperation and goodwill of the Border Guarding Forces of both the countries, they are handed over to the Border Guard Bangladesh.
