Two Weightlifter of Arunachal Pradesh Golom Tinku and Kampu Degio to represent India in Asian Weightlifting Championship.
Golom Tinku won bronze in National Weightlifting Championship held in Bhubaneswar.
While, Degio represented India in the recently concluded IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championship in Leon, Mexico.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu informed it on Twitter. CM Khandu Twitted’ ” A moment of celebration for #ArunachalPradesh as Golom Tinku (61 kg) and Kampu Degio (67 kg) got selected by the Indian Weightlifting Federation to represent #India at the #AsianWeightliftingChampionship to be held from 15th in Uzbekistan. Many congratulations.”
The Asian Weightlifting Championship to be held from 15-25 July in Uzbekistan.
