Guwahati: Shri Sanmukh Jugani has taken over the charge as the new Regional Executive Director (RED) of Airports Authority of India (AAI) at North Eastern Region, Guwahati from 01 July, 2022. Before joining as head of AAI North East Region, he was posted as General Manager (Engineering- Civil) at Corporate Headquarters, New Delhi.
He is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh (1986 passing batch). He is also MBA in Operation Management from IGNOU, Delhi. He joined AAI in the year 1989 and has held various positions at different airports including Mumbai, Vadodara, Dibrugarh, Ranchi, Corporate Headquarter Delhi, Raipur, Nagpur and Lucknow.
He has been instrumental in execution of Airport Terminal Building Projects at Raipur (Chattisgarh), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Runway and other pavement works at Vadodara, Lucknow, Varanasi apart from Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) project at Fursatganj. He has also worked in Vigilance Directorate of AAI and also has remained associated in planning, tendering and monitoring of various projects in different capacities at AAI Corporate Headquarters level.
