India has completed 200 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses now, and counting. This is seen as a major feat in the fight against ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has affected thousands and lakhs of lives so far.
The spirit and determination of doctors, nurses, frontline workers, scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs in the campaign has been phenomenal. It is for their efforts that India has been able in this.

Proud of those who contributed to making India’s vaccination drive unparalleled in scale and speed. This has strengthened the global fight against COVID-19.”, reads a tweet by PM Narendra Modi today.
He adds, “Throughout the rollout of the vaccine, the people of India have shown remarkable faith in science. Our doctors, nurses, frontline workers, scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs have played a key role in ensuring a safer planet. I appreciate their spirit and determination.”
India’s Cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeded 199.71 Crore yesterday evening with over 3.79 Cr 1st dose vaccines administered for age group 12-14 years.
Also, India’s Active caseload currently stands at 1,40,760 and 20,044 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.48% and Weekly Positivity Rate is presently at 4.40%.
