BSF RESCUED 05 CATTLE FROM THE CLUTCHES OF BANGLADESHI SMUGGLER ON BORDER

On 27 July, 2022 at 0330 hrs, Boat Patrolling Party of Border Out Post Nimtita, Adhoc Battalion posted in the border area of ​​Malda district rescued 05 cattle from the clutches of a smuggler in the river Ganges. The 23-year-old smuggler was trying to smuggle these cattle with the river by putting them in the Ganges river. Significantly, the Ganges river flows from India and reaches Bangladesh. These days due to the rains and bad weather, the water level of the river Ganges has increased, taking advantage of which the smugglers of the border area become active. BSF has deployed Boat Patrolling Party in Gangas to thwart every attempts of smugglers. The apprehended smuggler is being handed over to the Police Station Samsherganj for further legal proceedings.
