The unique and first of its kind expedition in Tawang started with latest Motorcycles lined up at Holy Tree, Khinzemane. The event was flagged off at Holy Tree, Khinzemane, the entry point of HH Dalai Lama to India in 1959. The 23 member expedition team traversed through arduous terrain in pristine mountains to reach Tawang. The event witnessed overwhelming response from locals enroute.
The second leg of expedition was flagged off from Tawang War Memorial to Holy Waterfalls, Chumi Gyatse. The expedition braved the inclement weather and difficult terrain and culminated at Tawang with high tea & distribution of gifts to the participants. The grit, determination and satisfaction of highlighting the patriotism while celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was clearly visible on the faces of the participants.
