In a horrific incident notorious drugs addicted thief attacked one BPharm Student with an iron rod and steal one precious mobile phone on tuesday night situated at Kalyanpur near central Hospital CIL ward No 8 under Margherita police station of Tinsukia district.
Dr Om Prakash Sahu noted Homeopathic Doctor of Margherita said that on tuesday night around 3:00 am when everyone was sleeping thief entered my house by breaking the window pane and attacked my daughter Swadha Kumari Sah with an iron rod hardly at neck and arms and took away her mobile phone and fled from the spot.
The thief left his iron rod and slippers after conducting the heinous crime and fled from the spot said Dr Sahu.
Kalyanpur near Central Hospital, Anandapara, Dehingpuria gaon,Mayapuri line,Margherita Chariali, Babul hall road,Changlang Tiniali are notorious place for drugs abuse which regularly incident occurred while Margherita police and Margherita Administration (C) after knowing doesn’t take any action against those youth who are notorious drugs addicted youth and steal previous items from every households regularly said Dr Sahu.
Many a times drugs addicted youth steal Hand pump, Motor pump,Bicycle, Bettle(Areca nuts),Mobile phones, Cash and Jewellaries but than also Margherita police and Margherita Administration (C) have failed to arrest any of the thief which indicates that Margherita Town is converting into Crime Town and it will be difficult to survive in future days said Dr Sahu.
Till filling of this report a FIR has been lodged at Margherita police station and the victim are hoping to get justice.
