An extensive excise search, patrolling and raid were conducted on wednesday night in Namphai, Jagun, Lakla, Ahom Pathar, Namchik Gate area under 124 No Margherita constituency of Tinsukia district by the team of Margherita Excise Circle under the supervision of Prashanta Dutta, DSE, Margherita.
Total 3 cases were detected and around Beer 87.60 BL, IMFL 4.68 BL (for sale in Arunachal Pradesh only) Illicit Distilled Liquor-22 litres and Fermented Wash around 70 litres were seized and 1 set of Distillation Apparatus was also destroyed during the operation.
