Northeast joins India in Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, all with strong patriotic spirits

As our nation celebrates seventy five years of independence, PM Narendra Modi initiated “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” that is organised as a mark of tribute to the freedom struggle and the journey so far.

Northeastern state of India take pride in hoisting the national flag at offices, houses, etc. in line with “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. The tricolor is seen in almost every junction of roads and streets, beyond.

The Tri-colour flag is indeed a symbol of pride for every Indian. It represents national integrity and signifies the hopes and aspirations of the Indian people. One may buy a Tiranga from the nearest Post Office & Fair Price Shops; or may also opt for door step delivery through the Postman.

Meanwhile, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements.

“The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav means elixir of energy of independence; elixir of inspirations of the warriors of freedom struggle; elixir of new ideas and pledges; and elixir of Aatmanirbharta. Therefore, this Mahotsav is a festival of awakening of the nation; festival of fulfilling the dream of good governance; and the festival of global peace and development”, reads an official message by PM Narendra Modi on the occasion of the above mentioned.
