Respect for nature is an integral part of the culture of our great nation and here in Narangi Cantt, Guwahati celebrating the 75 glorious years of Independence Indian Army organised a Tree Plantation drive to protect the environment of our dear motherland.
The plantation drive did not limit itself to just planting of trees but went ahead to spread the message of ‘one earth , many efforts ‘ in order to make the environment better and improve global wellness. Indian Army band played throughout the event celebrating the glorious 75 years of Independence with patriotic songs and further educated one and all on their responsibilities towards protecting the environment.
The drive concluded with a pledge being taken by the participants to collectively work towards conserving precious environment resources and live in harmony with nature to keep our beloved earth clean and green.
