Central Warehousing Corporation, Regional Office, Guwahati today joins the nation in celebrating 76th Independence Day along with staff of Regional Office.
The Regional Manager along with star guest of honour Sh.D.N.Saikia, Ex-Secretary, Home, Govt of Assam hoisted the Flag. Sh.D.N.Saikia then gave a speech on Independence Day telling us about having our freedom and the value of democracy. He also wished the Corporation a bright future and to march on to more success. After that the Regional Manager Smt E.S.Brisohbar spokeon the expansion of warehousing of the Corporation from a mere 72000 MT capacity of the region to 1.90 lakh MT after the region was opened on May,1991. She also said that the region would very shortly add an additional capacity of 1.75 lakh MT of warehouse. This would definitely take the Northeast region to a presentable position in warehousing and having our presence in all the 8 States.
