WEAPONS EXHIBITION AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES ORGANIZED BY BSF FOR THE YOUTH OF THE BORDER AREA

The Border Security Force organizes various programmes from time to time to create awareness and enthusiasm for the army and security forces for the youth of the Border area along with guarding the international Border.

In this connection, under the South Bengal Frontier, the 84 Battalion organized an exhibition of arms and cultural programme on 15th August, 2022, at 1005 hrs. The arms exhibition was held at the High School in Tehata. Around1500 school children and villagers from Tehata town and surrounding villages participated in this exhibition. In the end Shri Nandan Singh Bisht, Commanding Officer of 84 Battalion presented gifts to the students who participated in the cultural programme.

Apart from this, on 15th August, 2022, at 1030 hrs, there was a weapons and photo exhibition at the Border Out Post Mahadipur 70 Battalion. Hundreds of students and villagers participated in this programme. The program was presided over by Shri Mukesh Kumar Tyagi, DIG (Ops) Frontier Headquarters South Bengal.

Spokesperson of South Bengal Frontier stated that various programmes like physical training, information about recruitment process, classes for written examination, computer knowledge, keeps giving information about weapons so that the youth can get maximum benefits in the upcoming recruitments.
