On 18 Aug 2022, at Bangdubi Military Station , Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh will be meeting nineteen ‘Veer Naris’/ Next of Kin of soldiers who laid their lives and thirteen soldiers who were injured in line of duty in Tupul landslide tragedy. Defence Minister will be meeting and interacting with these brave citizens to convey that the entire nation shares the grief of the families of deceased/ injured soldiers and to assure them that the nation is standing firmly with them. The tragic incident had occurred on 29/30 June 2022 when a massive landslide had struck a Company Operating Base (COB) of 107 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army which was deployed at Tupul.
