The Border Security Force organizes various programmes from time to time to create awareness and enthusiasm for the army and security forces for the youth of the Border area along with guarding the international border.
In this connection, under the South Bengal Frontier, the 68 Battalion organized an exhibition of weapons on 18th August, 2022 at 1000 hrs. This arms exhibition was organized at the Border Out Post Mamabhagina, 68 Battalion. NCC cadets and students of Government High School, Baghdah participated in this exhibition. They appreciated this initiative of BSF.
Sh. Om Prakash Sharma, Commanding Officer of the 68 Battalion stated that the Border Security Force organises various programmes like physical training, information about recruitment process, written examination from time to time for the youth living in the Border area to be recruited in the Indian Security Forces. Classes, computer knowledge, information about weapons keeps on giving so that the youth can get maximum benefits in the upcoming recruitments.
