Hartalika Teej was Celebrated on Sunday at Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha Bhawan, Margherita which was organised by “Jai Bhojpuri Jai Bhojpuria” Assam branch chapter.
Hartalika Teej celebrates the Union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati which on this auspicious day women pray for a blissful marriage and for the well being of their family members.
Anand Sharma Chairman of Margherita Municipal Board, Debendar Panday Noted Social worker of Margherita, Mithun Baruah treasurer, Bikash Baruah Vice President and Abdul Aalim executive member of Margherita Journalist Association, Ashok Agarwal noted Social worker of Margherita,Children friends Club(NGO) President Pappu Sah,Jun Pradhan working president of Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha Margherita District Committee, Shyam Upadhaya,Kamlesh Kumar Dubey,Om Prakash Sah, Jadu Bans Upadhaya, Maya Choubey Coordinator of “Jai Bhojpuri Jai Bhojpuria” Assam branch Chapter and many more distinguished and resource persons of Margherita were present at the programme.
Anand Sharma in his inaugural speech said that if literature and Culture is survived at our country that is only due to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as these two states is rich in culture and literature. Bihar and Uttar Pradesh has produced highest number of Hindi litterateurs, Poet, writers which our country is very grateful and thus the legacy have to be continued by next generation said Anand Sharma.
