EXCERPTS:

Q.Do you really think as a season opener a prestigious tournament like Durand will help to check the bench strength  of your team?

See, Practice and Practice matches are different.I can understand the real quality of the players after playing the big tournament like Durand Cup.

Q.See, Service  Sports control Broad has a great contribution in the field of  sports. They are producing lots of world class players but still adequate funding is not there..Do you have any suggestions to the Indian Govt?

No,we have sufficient funding from our organizations side.

Q.What is the strength of your team?

Unity.

Q.Fifa suspended AIFF over undue influence from third parties ? See, Footballers in general and the young rising stars in particular will suffer a lot.As a coach what’s your reaction?

Still there’s a time for AIFF and will try to solve the problem as soon as possible otherwise it will effect the entire young generation of Indian Football.

Q.Coach,if Army allows their teams to participate in all domestic tournaments like other  clubs they will gain lot of experience which they at times are  found to be lacking  despite their good fitness level. Do you agree?

Yes, Army allow to play all domestic tournaments except I-League and ISL.The thing is that we don’t get ready made  players but  big clubs in India usually get technically sounds footballers but here in Army we have to  develop our players and it will  take time.
