On 20th August, 2022 at around 1700 hrs, Border Security Force South Bengal Frontier organized a band display on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami and Amrit Mahotsav of Independence at the ISKCON Temple, Mayapur. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Inspector General, Sector Krishnanagar.
He gave a message to all the participants that on the last Independence Day the country completed 75 years of independence. The main objective of this programme was to make people aware of 75 years of independence and its glorious history, culture and achievements through ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. This was followed by Bhajan Kirtan on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. Hundreds of local and BSF troops participated in the event.
